Ask the manual. Get the page.
Qited answers questions from your manuals, specifications and policies in plain English. Every answer quotes the document word for word, names the section and page, and opens that page with the line highlighted. When the documents don't say, it says so.
Live demo by invitation, with the admin console and knowledge base. Request a code.

The answer is on page 247. Nobody is going to find it.
Your documents already hold the answers people need. They're just hundreds of pages long, so people call or email your staff instead, and your experts spend the day reading the manual out loud.
Search the PDF
Finds every page that mentions the word. Then you read them all, and hope one of them is the page that matters.
Ask a generic chatbot
Answers fast and sounds sure. It can't show you where the answer came from, and sometimes it didn't come from anywhere.
Ask Qited
Answers in plain English from your documents only, quotes the page it came from, and opens it. When the documents don't cover it, it says so.
Every answer comes with its source, so nobody has to take the AI's word for it.
Your documents in. Cited answers out.
No training project, no tagging, no model to tune. Upload the PDFs and Qited builds the knowledge base.
Add your documents
Upload a PDF in the admin console. It's read page by page into passages that keep their section and page number, and it's searchable in seconds.

They get the page
Each answer quotes the source and cites the section and page. One click opens the page with the quoted lines highlighted. Every quote is checked word for word before it's shown.
Every answer shows its work.

Employee Handbook · Section 4.3 · page 184.3 Vacation Carryover
Employees may carry over up to forty (40) hours of unused vacation into the next calendar year. Hours above the limit lapse on January 1 unless an extension is approved in writing.
Drawings open to the sheet
Ask about a standard detail, a figure or a table, and the answer goes straight to that sheet, not just the paragraph that mentions it.
Permitting Guide · Detail 3-2 · page 14Cases, not guesses
When the answer depends on the situation, it lists each case with its own citation instead of picking one.
Section 3.1.2 · Section 3.1.3 · Section 3.1.5It depends on where the fence is.

Over 6 feet, a building permit is required (§ 3.1, page 12).
It knows what it doesn't know
Unfamiliar shorthand, someone else's rules, or a question the documents don't cover gets an honest answer and your team's contact, never a guess. Personal details are removed before a question leaves the browser.
The documents don't cover overtime for contract inspectors.
The handbook's overtime rules (§ 5.2) apply to employees. Nothing in the documents covers contractors, so it won't guess.
An admin console, out of the box.
Everything the people who own the documents need on day one: fix misses, add documents, change editions cleanly, and see how it's used. No developer in the loop.

- Publish. One switch puts it in the public chat.
- Load the new edition into staging, next to the live one.
- Your test questions run against both editions.
- Answers that changed are flagged for review.
- One switch makes the new edition live. The old one stays on file for admins.

Accuracy and cost, measured
An accuracy test against your target, model cost per question, and limits that keep spend in check.
A knowledge base that builds itself.
This is the part other tools leave to you. Qited turns a stack of PDFs into a knowledge base it can quote from, and every passage keeps its document, edition, section and page.
Pages and passages are from adding a 317-page manual to the live demo: read, indexed and searchable in 7.8 seconds. Scanned pages without a text layer go through OCR first.
Built to pass your IT review.

Runs in your cloud tenant, in the region you choose, with the AI model your organization approves.
One embed on your existing pages. No new site for the public to learn.
Admins use your single sign-on. The public never needs an account.

9.1Does it make things up?
It answers only from your documents and shows the quote it relied on, checked word for word against the page before the answer appears. If the documents don't cover a question, it says so and points people to your team.
9.2What can it read?
PDFs, including long manuals with tables and standard detail sheets. Pages that are scanned images need a text layer first, so those go through OCR when your documents are loaded.
9.3How long does it take to add a document?
Minutes. Upload it in the admin console, try a few questions in staging, and publish. In the demo, a 317-page manual was searchable in under ten seconds.
9.4Which AI model does it use?
The model your organization approves, under your organization's own agreement with the provider.
9.5What happens when a new edition comes out?
Load it into staging. Your test questions run against both editions, changed answers are flagged for review, and one switch makes the new edition live. Older editions stay visible to admins.
See it answer from real manuals.
The live demo runs on about 900 pages of published engineering standards: specifications, design criteria and construction rules, with the full admin console behind it.
